February and March Empties

I didn't do a February empties post

cuz I was busy with midterms 

so I decided to put feb and march empties tgt

I thought I would have a lot more used up products

I finished up 12 products, but lots them are deluxe sample size products that I'd received it from my sub boxes

B.Kamins Laboratories Nutrient Replacement CreamyK.

I got this from my topbox 

I used it twice a day, 

day cream and night cream

and it lasted me through out Feb

I like this cream 

it didn't cause any irritations 

it kept my face hydrated 

the texture of this cream is like whipped creams

very light but not in a gel cream texture 

this cream has a very strong fragrance smell

a very mature scent

however I didn't mind it

the cream doesn't have SPF in it

so it's okay to use as a night cream as well

I will probably purchase this in the future 

however I do like to explore different kinds of moisturizer

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner

I go thro toners pretty fast

I used to spend lots money on high end toners

but now i feel that toners don't do much on my skin

so i save some money on toners to put forwards better face creams and serum

This toner is for Combination/oli skin

there is no scent in this toner

it claims that it can help to pore-minimising and remove impurities and reduce excess oil

for me, didn't do much 

at least not significantly 

I won't purchase this again in the future 

unless it's heavily discounted

Avene Cleanance Toner

For oil, blemish-prone skin

I enjoyed using this toner

the scent is very fresh and light

it did help to reduce blemish on my skin

but not much

it helped to keep my face matte without my skin feeling dry

I will for sure purchase this toner again in the future

La Roche Posay Laboratoire Dermatologique 

Effaclar Duo-Double Action Ance Treatment

I heard about this product from youtuber Tanya Burr

It helped her acne problems

so I purchased this after watching her video

Now this has became my holy grail skin care product

This suppose to be s spot treatment

but I use this as a serum

I don't have severe acne problems

I have acnes on my chin area

I am on my second bottles now

almost all the acnes on my chin area are gone

this product is very light, no scent

also it's not harsh on the skin

I will for sure purchase this product again

Cool Way Boost- The Low heat revolution

I got this from my glymm sub box

I have nothing to say abt this useless product

it didn't do anything to my hair except making my skull very dry and itchy

so no purchase of this product in the future

Josie Maran Argan Oil

got this frim ipsy sub box

I love this argan oil

very gentle on the skin

very hydrating and didn't make my skin break out

sometimes I mix this argan oil with my La Roche-Posay double action cream

or just apply it after my double action cream

no scent 

super soothing on the skin

Josie Maran argan oil is pricey 

but it's definitely worth the investment

I will purchase this again in the coming winter

Wine Delights

Beer Shampoo

got this from a sub box 

I love this shampoo so much

it doesn't smell like a beer, 

maybe jst a hint a beer scent with some honey

I am not a fan of beer

but this shampoo has definitely won my heart

it kept my hair soft and hydrated

also my hair didn't show any oiliness on the next day

I would for sure purchase this if I can find it in a local store

but i don't think any local store sell this particular product or this particular brand

Shiseido facial cotton

I have been using this for years

It is pricey for cotton pads

Usually i stock them up whenever they are on sell at shoppers drug mart

or at the semi-annual shiseido warehouse sale

the cotton pads are very thick and the shape is squared 

also I sometimes split one cotton pad into half and soaked it in toners

then used it as two small masks on my cheeks

 however I found a good alternative for these expensive cotton pads

I will probably don't gonna purchase this again

after I finish up all the stock ups

MAC Rapidblack Penultimate Eye Liner

This is my favourite black liquid eye liner

It's so easy to apply

and the colour is very black

doesn't smudge 

I will for sure purchase this again in the future

Pantene Pro-V Color Preserve Volume Conditioner

I used to b very cheap when it comes to hair products

I got this jst simply because it was on sale 

don't remember how much I got it for 

This conditioner kept my skull from dryness and itchiness

the scent is very fresh, nothing too special

Not gonna purchase this again

Aveeno Active naturals Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion

It claims that it helps to calm and relax, moisturizes for 24 hrs

I don't think it live up to the claims

but it definitely moisturizes well

but up to 24hrs?

don't think so

winter in Canada is brutal

skin always feeling dry 

I have to put a thick layer on this lotion each morning on my lacks, arms 

and sometimes my back

This bottle lasted me from November to February

however the lotion at the bottom is so hard to get thro the pump

I have to use a stick or a lil spoon to get the lotion at the bottom

I might not purchase this again in the future

La Fresh Travel Lite Makeup Remover Wipes

I got this from my ipsy sub box

I am not a big fan of facial wipes

Facial wipes are so hard to use to remove makeups around lower eye lashes area

and facial wipes tend to make my skin break out

I don't like to wast products

I usually try to use as much products as I can even when I don't like them

These La Fresh facial wipes are very pleasant

I was very surprised

I used these wipes to remove lipstick colours and foundations

it did a very good job

however like I said I don't like facial wipes

so I won't be purchasing them in the future

2013 January Empties

I can't believe january is already gone

so it's time to do a post on empties again!!!!

 As always I put my empties in my luxe box

This month I did pretty good

There are lots products in this box

 ===================================================

I bought this candle at bath and body works

I don't know if this is a seasonal item

I got it during the semi annual sale

This became my favourite winter candle

It has this baking smell

makes my condo smell like I was baking yummy bread for the whole day

I think this candle is perfect for winter dinner parties

It makes me hungry when i am burning this candle

It doesn't have this "fake smell" like other candles have

I got this Burt's Bees nourishing body lotion sample 

from my latest glymm bag

it is for normal to dry skin

The smell is pleasant

but a bit too strong 

the texture is not too thick

so it is easy to absorb into the skin

It claims that 24hr moisturization

but it is not

since after I woke up the next morning

my skin appeared to be very dry

This lotion is not suitable for a cold winter city like toronto I guess

so i still prefer thick texture body lotion

however I would consider purchasing it

if I find it on sale in drug mart

but I would never pay full regular price for this product

because besides the scent,

there is nothing special abt this body lotion

I am not a stranger when it comes to L'occitane hand creams

I have purchased it in the past

also I have tried some of their other products as well

I really love their hand creams

It is one of my favourite hand creams

So I was really excited to try this sample

The smell is mango flower

It provides a really fresh scent,

I think this is perfect for summer

It moisturized my hand very well

I guess because it has shea butter in it

so the hand cream is very thick

and my hand didn't feel dry or anything up to the next day

I would definitely purchase the full size of this mango flower hand cream in spring

I feel like I am writing my favourite product post

since lots empties are truly my all time favourite product

so the fancl mild cleansing oil is my absolute favourite makeup remover

I probably have used up at least 6 bottles of these bad boys

This reminds me of the shu umera makeup remover oil

I only need two pumps to take off all my makeups

and keep in mind that I wear eyeshadows, mascara, foundation,

eye liners, bronzer, blush

and it literally takes off all my makeups

and the formula is very gentle

it doesn't break out my skin

This is the best eye cream

It is from la mer

It's called eye concentrate

I have lots fine lines under my eyes

I tried many eye creams

but it doesn't really do anything

My mom has been using La mer products for years

and she always gets compliment on her skin

so I decided to give a try as well

The smell of this eye concentrate reminds me of cucumbers

so very refreshing I guess

The texture is light surprisingly 

I thought it would be very thick 

It is very easy to absorb into my under eye areas

only a small amount is needed

and after I have used it for two or three weeks

i saw significant improvement 

the fine lines under my eyes have been eased

This is very pricy

so I only get it when I am at duty free shops in the airports

or when holt is having a gift card event

it is definitely worth the investment

I guess this is one of those "you pay what you get" sort of products

Biotherm nettoyant hydra-mineral cleanser toning mousse

I usually put this in my shower

The price is very affordable

I think it's around $20 at shoppers drug mart

It lasts a long time

the texture is light green, 

same color as the packaging

It reminds me of tooth paste for some unknown reasons 

the scent is very fresh 

I feel that I am very bad at describing scent..==

anyways it generate lots foams which I love 

however I only use it once a day

because I find that if i use twice a day

it break out my skin

Chloe eau de parfum sample

I love this perfume

It's a girly perfume

very feminine

The scent is very fresh, natural

also it's not too strong, or too light that I gotta spray 5 times

Whenever I use it , 

I feel very feminine and girly

It's a all occasion perfume

actually one of my girlfriends only uses this perfume

and she always smell so lovely

I didn't know she was using Chloe eau de parfum 

until I tried this sample

Also I love perfume samples,

because I always put it in my cosmetic bag

and whenever I want something to cheer me up,

I find my use always reaching for the whatever perfume sample i have in my cosmetic bag

2012 DECEMBER EMPTIES

This month I finished two bottles of face cleansers,

usually I have two bottles of face cleanser at the same time,

one in the shower,

another just for whenever I am not in the shower.

All the empties are very good,

I would definitely purchase it again.

I am reallie cheap when it comes to hair products..

so i was reallie excited to try new hair products samples

I got this from my luxe box winter edition

This Kerastase hair serum helps to prevent split ends

This sample is super small

but I used it for almost one month!

This serum has a super pleasant smell, a very fresh smell

and I just apply two drops into my hand,

and then apply to my hair ends

This serum gave my hair ends a super soft touch

and It can give me hair the good smell and soft ends for two day straight 

I will purchase the full size when I see it

This Shisheido extra gentle cleansing foam is my fav face wash

Whenever I have a bad reaction when I try a new face product

I always use this face wash

I find that it can balance my skin

It works very well, 

it generates lots foam,

even tho it can wash my face very well

but it doesnt leave this "dryness" feeling on my face

This is probably my 5th bottle

I usually buy shisheido products at their semi annual warehouse sale in Toronto

I usually buy 3 or 4 bottles of this face wash!!

It's soooo good!!!

This is probably my second fav face wash

I don't really like Chanel skin care products 

I find that Chanel skin care products are pretty useless

dont work as well as other up end brands

this is the only few skin care products that I think it's good from Chanel

It generates decent amount of foam which I love

It has a lil pleasant smell,

very fresh, lil bit floral smell I guess

It cleans my face very well, and it doesn't leave any "dryness" feeling after

It's very gentle,

for sensitive skin

I love eye creams

I think it's important to use eye cream after you hit the age of 20

Eye creams are often pricy

So it's good to try samples before purchase the full size products

I think i got this Lise watier age control supreme eye cream from shoppers

Even tho this product is sooo tiny

but there's soooooooo much products in it!!!

I used it for a fulllll month 

and sometime I squeezed too much products..

so probably it could have last me for at least a month and half

This eye cream is sooo good

it moistures the eyes

and the wrinkles under my eyes got BETTER!!!!!

my eye bags are smaller

and the area under my eyes are sooo moist allll the time

I will for sure buy this product again!!!

This Cle de Peau toner is good

this is brand is under the same company as shesheido

I bought this at the semi annual shesheido warehouse sale

I heard soo much good things abt this brand 

so I purchased a whole set to try it out

I think it would worked better if i have used the whole set together

but I did not

This toner is very gentle

and has a decent smell

The packaging is super nice

It comes in a yellow shimmer glass bottle

I would purchase this again 

because it does help me to balance my skin

I love glysomed

this is the best hand cream

it keeps my hand moist during winter

usually I just put on a thick layer before i go sleep

and I don't have to apply during the day

and the price is super good!

a winter must have
